In view of the powerhouse of Deep Purple, this song has all the elements of another rocker. It should have been done fast and hard.

This song was written by Nino Tempo. It was originally recorded in the fifties with a very upbeat swing arrangement by Rosemary Clooney. Nino & April recorded this slower more bluesy version in 1965. It was released as a single on Atco records, but failed to chart (unless you count "bubbling under"..it went to #127). The song is the opening track on Nino & April's 1966 Atco LP "Hey Baby."
