I had the ultimate honor of serving with Capt Secher while we were stationed at Officer Candidate School in Quantico VA....his last stateside tour. He was the epitome of what a true Marine should be. His courage, valor, honor, courage, and commitment not only to the Corps, but to his junior Marines (i.e. me), will never be forgotten. He was a fine leader, a true American, and an outstanding Marine. Rest in Peace, brother. Mission Complete...

I am a Secher,I live in Denmark,where there is around 400 members of the Secher family,perhaps we are related to the american branch of the family,well we share the same name.
I was drafted for the danish military in 1997 where I joined the Emergency Corps.

i worked with Capt. Secher at OCS before he was PCS-ed for deployment. he was a wonderful leader with a great sense of humor! he would be proud of this video! he will NEVER be forgotten!!

Very good tribute. Everyday of my life I feel guilty that I am here and they are not. Maybe my service wan't as good as theres but I wish we had everyone of them back. I hope your family finds peace and know that as a veteran my family and I will nevey take that day for granted ever!!!!
