Once again we took our fully loaded Novara Safaris to the test. This time the plan was to start from Coachella (elevation 100ft), ride east on the back roads to the south entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, climb up the road passed Jumbo Rock campground (elevation 4,000ft), get on the Geology Tour road heading south west through Berdoo canyon (4X4 accessible). We completed 92 miles, 40 of which on unpaved jeep roads. We spent 11h30min in the saddle, at time battling 90 degree heat....Fun stuff!
awesomeness!!!!!!!

Congratulations. I'm very envious of your trip and would like to do the same one day.

what tires do you have on your bikes?

Coachella is below sea level, so your starting elevation may have been -100.
