He didn't Deck him. The kid went down because he was on skates, but he didn't even hit him hard. If he did, he wouldn't have got back up so fast. Kids aren't as fragile as you think, especially when they're wearing full hockey equipment. The should teach him not to sucker-punch.

I don't think he even punched him. He basically just stuck his arm out and clothes-lined him. The kid was probably fine. It's called protective instincts, you all would've done the same thing if the kid was about to punch your kid in the back of the head.
