After winning the Dora Maxwell Award for Community Service with its first feature film, Angelica's Dreams (2007), local award-winning director/producer Rodrigo Dorfman produces the second part in this series of innovative educational feature films: Robertos Dreams.
Roberto's Dreams, a recession screw ball comedy, takes its storyline straight out of todays news headlines. In the midst of an economic crisis, Roberto has been laid off, Angelica continues to struggle with her house cleaning business and their ten year old daughter Brittany strives to mix her Latino roots with her American education. Roberto, like the Accidental Entrepreneurs featured in a recent New York Times article, decides to start the long and perilous journey of owning his own business: the first Latino green cleaning business in North Carolina.
All of the acting is amazing in this movie. <3 you Mira/Brittany!

Small world: I worked with Miguel Chirinos in the 90's when we were both with Dun & Bradstreet in Caracas, Venezuela. Many years later we both end up in North Carolina and I see him on all these videos. By the way, this is exemplary work from the credit union, hats off and felicitaciones!!
