Most impressive, especially the video quality. I just purchased this model today as my first ever rc plane along with the flight sim and buddy cord. I can't wait till it gets here next week from my local hobby shop as they were out of stock, and i couldn't bring it home today lol. I'm going to join the AMA here and they help train for free, how cool is that. Keep up the nice vids, liked the plane following behind lol

Awesome 720p HD video!
It is so realistic that at the beginning I got an uncomfortable feeling of personally getting higher and higher ... then the motor suddenly stopped :(
What motor, speed control and battery combination are you using? My stock apprentice motor just crapped out on me. Help!

@murdamechanik All stock setup here. If you need help with finding the replacement for your motor go to RC Groups Forums, find the Apprentice thread - there is a lot of useful info, and you can always ask for help- the guys are pretty good there :-)

Which gopro cam are you using? The $180 one or the $300 one. How did you make the video not fisheye? I have this same airplane and want to set up a camera system too. By the way this is the best apprentice video on YouTube. Happy flying!

@murdamechanik This is probably the cheaper version, its called HD HERO 960. I did not modify the video, so if you think this one doesn't have the "fish eye" effect, the more expensive version will be even better than that.
Thank you for your compliment - calm weather and steady controls - thats all you need. Some people use gyros to help with a stable flight.
Happy flying to you too!

that was a great flight!!! nice video quality, is this plane good for a new flyer of planes ? I have been fying rc helicopters and want to try planes.

@skiingany1 Thank you for your kind words. This plane is perfect for many things, including learning. I would recommend it without hesitations - it is stable, docile, yet it responds well to your commands. Good quality components, durable. It has just the right amount of power for steep climbs and it has long lasting battery. With good throttle management it can fly 25 minutes easy, if not more. Just to be sure have someone experienced with you for first couple of flights.
