@Jeffbear1 if i remember correctly he also recorded it , just as Stunningly, with i think, closer microphone clarity, with the Hollywood Bowl. just incredible playing...more than any pianist, I think he brings out the demonic, fantasical aspects , but always elegant lyrical and expressive playing and never an ugly sound or phrase

I grew up admiring Pennario's renditions. Imo, and as a pianist myself, , his Paganini here remains the BEST i have ever heard, including over the composer's own.

Génial! I saw France Clidat in this Rachma in Châtelet. It was great too! Thisversion is very good, i like Stephen Hough's one too.
