Integral in Marxist doctrine is forced collectivacation. This necessitates coercion which leads to brutality and murder. Marx himself never saw his theories applied, but his legacy is set in iron clad totalitarianism. This singular notion, a centralized economy, contests independent volition and will always tend to oppress. Free markets don't produce poverty they simply manifest success, mediocrity, or failure. Applied Marxism cannot abide this economic tolerance.

Because right-wing people and their lies are failing. Marxism has nothing to do with the crimes of Stalin. Karl Marx never wrote about killing all who oppose the ''great leader''. He and Friedrich Engels wanted to free the workers from capitalism and imperialism.

Marxism is no lie and I'm glad that people are waking up. It will take time in the Baltic state, because of the anticommunist climate. But even today, young people are facing the unfairness of capitalism.

I don't say that the invasion was a lie. I'm a anti-Stalinist Marxist and I say that the invasion of the Baltic states was a crime. You cannot force socialism on people. Many Stalinists still believe the lies of Stalin, they are very harmful to genuine Marxists.

Communism is not about conquering other nations and imposing a single party dictatorship. The Soviet-Union of 1940 was no longer socialist and no longer a state ruled by soviets ( workers councils )

Stalinists were indeed cruel, evil and anti-Bolshevik. They killed 2/3 of Lenin's Party and murdered millions of soviet workers. Their invasion of the Baltic was a crime and has nothing to do with Marxism.

Stalin's actions are the reason why right-wing nationalists rule in the Baltic. Because of Stalin, socialism and communism are viewed as evil and totalitarian. Right-wing political parties are still able to corrupt the minds of workers with anticommunist lies.

World War II ended in fact on August 31st, 1991. The last Soviet Soldier left the Baltic as well as Germany. It took four more years, until last base of this evil empire was dismanteled at Skundra. The Balts survived all this tribulations and I wish these countries a great and glorious future. May god be with you all.

@rlibos Nobody discredited the Nazis. Both committed horrible atrocities against humanity. Both were evil.

I've noticed a lot of modern supporters of communism say this kind of stuff is all propaganda and none of it happened.

They do realize they sound EXACTLY like Neo-Nazis, just replace Death Camps with Gulags, right?
