Just so everyone knows... glass shatters at over 5km/s.. i.e. the crack moves at over 5 km/s. He didn't cut the video ... it just shatters too fast. He's an idiot because he didn't show the sides of the glass and it just seems to appear out of thin air.
Errr, it was black at the beginning mate, the glass was unbroken, you could see straight through it to the other side where the black background is. The shattering of the glass happens so fast that you don't see it, even at 1000fps, which isn't all that fast in the grand scale of things.
