On Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. (local) in more than 450 major movie theaters, audiences will come together for a live, one-night only theatrical event called MONUMENTAL: IN SEARCH OF AMERICA¹S NATIONAL TREASURE, hosted by Kirk Cameron.

The two-hour show will include special guests, live music, and a showing of Kirk's new documentary film MONUMENTAL.

Audiences will be inspired as they come together at the same time in cities across the country to rediscover the people and the principles that made America the strongest, most free and prosperous nation on earth.

Kirk Cameron will take audiences on a journey through live conversations with special guests, live music from top artists, and his new documentary MONUMENTAL. Trace the heroic and harrowing travels of the early Pilgrims. Encounter the unlikely men and women who risked everything for liberty. Experience the stories of faith that guided education, government, and civic life. Hear from inspiring leaders on simple and practical ways to keep America's ideals alive, beginning at home. A high-energy patriotic event, MONUMENTAL will unite audiences in a celebration of America's unique story of faith and freedom.

Tickets will go on sale February 9.

Sad indeed when The Birth of our Nation is mocked and treaded on. We take these precious God-given freedoms for granted and all those who stab, spit, stomp on the foundations will see this nation fall. Tolerate everything until you die. this is what is great about America, freedom to believe how they want and freedom to worship God or not....most countries don't have the option to believe in Jesus Christ.  i think if some ppl are so offended by this movie go watch something else.....no one is forcing any1 to watch this movie or even the trailer, and sadly no the the entire nation is not saturated with Christianity this is the point, there are non believers or atheist also and that is what makes America so GRAND. we have a voice

Go ahead and worship your god. Go to church. Pray all you like. Is that not enough for you? You really won't be satisfied until our entire nation is soaked and saturated with the sticky ooze of your precious Christianity? So what if the men who established the Constitution fell under the category of Judeo-Christian faith; their intent was not to establish a theocracy. Why is there never a movie commemorating the naive land owners?. I really think that people who start sentences with 'As a Christian', or 'As a Father/Mother of 'X' Many children' should no longer be deemed more meaningful than others who choose not to bare children in our society. I feel soo sorry for Kirk Camerons children who have been sold this tripe ideology since the cradle - unfortunately there is no SKILL to creating a child only educating them & Kirk fails miseribly in that department.
