Hi Lynxsteam, did you take this further? Did you build a full size stove? I can see your 3cyl engine in the shot, did you ever connect it to the stove? Best Wishes, RHS

great project but you could get more heat out of the rocket with a reburn drum but hold it up about 3 inches and it will put more heat down chimney see permies.com rocket greenhouse

The experiment has a bit of backdraft at the firebox during warm-up but otherwise seems to work. An engineer can help with the construction specifications for later versions.

Keep it up!

@LynxSteam ... If you have smoke comming out of the "hopper" end... you doing it wrong.. In fact you shouldn't have any smoke comming out of either end... A proper rocket stove re-burns the smoke in the riser pipe.

Ironic how it is built in a pine box. I hope you only plan on using that device outside lest you may end up in one.

Very cool!!! critique: Pressure relief valve for safety!!!

Really nice work, but please be very careful the pipe could easily rupture and scold everyone. Remember even one PSI pressure on this pipe is 3.14*10 inches * 24 inches pipe length = 720 pounds per one PSI increase in pressure. This means that at 60 PSI you have 21 tons of pressure contained by the pipe. Super, super dangerous. Be careful! This is why boilers have pressure ratings and need to be certified by an engineer.

I really don't understand what is going on here, other than a rocket stove that is making steam. I understand the principal, it's just that the writing is so small I can't read it. If your going to give instructions, you should make it readable to those viewing. Looks like a great project.
I am learning you tube. Videos that show a lot and explain a lot are more interesting. I am trying to talk more in recent videos. Also, I shoot the video when I have the time and I don't prepare. Thanks for the encouragement. My hope is that people build on what I do.

Thank you, yes I make all this stuff. I am a crazy inventor and determined to get something useful from all this work. What I am finding in all this is that the answer lies in the less than obvious. Its like threading a needle to get efficiency and keep it affordable. I am getting closer. I wish I had a team like Edison had. The two things I think are most promising are the rotary linked to the Axial Flux alternator, and the Vawt wind turbine linked to the same.
