Yes, people sure are foolish putting their trust in men, as they do with Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. These people claimed to have heard the voice of god. You can take them on their word, or not. You have nothing else to go on. If you believe and follow them you are not worshiping god but are worshiping human authority.

Annie Besant, Life and Teachings of Muhammad “It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme.
