3d realms ended up being bloodsuckers, always promising a duke game was round the corner for 13 years, till the publishers told them to get to fuck and rightfully sued their ass. for the longest development and money poured into a game that was never going to happen in history.

i mean they knew how to make a game, prey was theres

there should have been 3 or 4 duke games since the duke nukem 3d in 96.

hopefully someone more compotent is running with the game and at last.
