AcuBreathe® laser process for perforating round holes in flexible food packaging films provides breathability, package compression and pressure difference burst prevention. AcuBreathe produces extremely reliable holes with consistency up to 10 times that of a typical laser perforations and at least two times better than electrostatic discharge perforations at speeds up to 1200 ft./min. AcuTear® laser process allows for easy, consistent package opening. Laser contour scoring enhances access to closure technology. Applications include laser cutting, scoring, perforating, kiss-cutting, and contour cutting in a variety of materials.
