**ALL INFO BELOW IS CORRECT AS OF 11PM THURS 23RD DEC. IT WILL BE UPDATED FRI 24TH.** *MAIN TRAFFIC* * Conditions are treacherous with black ice on M1 particularly between the M1/M50 Interchange and J5 Balbriggin South. * Very poor driving conditions along the M50 especially between J10 Ballymount and the M1/M50 Interchange. Extra care is needed on all off and on ramps. * Conditions are extremely poor around city centre following heavy snow. Drive with extreme care. Particular care is needed on Cork St, Camden St and Parkgate St.

*NORTHSIDE* * Gardai are advising motorists to avoid the Swords area. Conditions are hazardous with snow and ice. * Very icy from Fairview out to the Clontarf Rd. * Conditions are slippery over the bridge near Laurel Lodge in Castleknock. * Nephin Rd in Cabra is passable but there are very slippery stretches on this route. * Very slushy and icy in parts around Rush, Lusk & Skerries. Gardai say the Balbriggin to Skerries Rd & Skerries to Rush Rd are treacherous and should be avoided. * In Phoenix Park, Knockmaroon Gate, Islandbridge Gate, Upper Glen Rd & Wellington Rd are closed. Local access is being maintained on Ordnance Survey Rd. * Infirmary Rd is impassable. * Very icy on Station Rd in Raheny.

*SOUTHSIDE* * Gardai say motorists should avoid Emmett Rd & Tyrconnell Rd as they are barely passable due to ice. Nearby, the SCR is impassable coming from Kilmainham heading onto Con Colbert Rd. * Extremely heavy snow around Tallaght. Drive with care. * In Clondalkin, the jct of Orchard Lane, Main St, Monastery Rd is very icy. Avoid Woodford Hill and it remains slippery on Nangor Rd and Ninth Lock Rd. * Slushy with icy conditions in parts of Dun Laoghaire. Icy on Glenageary Rd Lower; it's a very steep hill drive with extra care * Very icy on Eden Rd in Glasthule and at the Barnhill Rd R/A in Dalkey. Slippery on Hyde Rd, Avondale Rd, Castlepark Rd, Sorrento Rd and on Railway Rd particularly by the bridge. Very slippery all around Killiney also.

* Continue to take care on Cornelscourt Hill Rd in Cabinteely. * Most routes in Blackrock are slippery. Extra care is needed on the Rock Rd from Booterstown Ave to Frascati Rd and also on Temple Hill. * Compacted snow along the N11 from Donnybrook to Bray.
