Witness Rainer Küschall's "Mission Impossible?" project! Rainer is a quadriplegic wheelchair driver. He wants to prove that physical disability can be compensated by modern technology. Rainer broke his neck and since then can not move his fingers and hands. He got only little functionality in his arms and can not use his legs at all. Therefore the braking and steering is assisted by servo power. Gear shifting is accomplished by a special sip & puff system, blowing and sucking air through a tube, which gives the signals for up and downshifting to a computer system. Rainer finished the International Sports Car Challenge championship 2009 on third position. Sympathizers to support the "Mission Impossible?" project are very welcome.
Amazing, what an inspiration!
