La Jolla Big Wednesday Revised

On December 5, 2007 a huge NW ground swell hit the La Jolla Cove in San Diego California. This video highllights the surfing of "La Jolla Big Wednesday".

this is a once per generation event. when it happens again youtube probably won't even exist. I started surfing in 70's and have only seen the Cove do this once.

I was totally out there that day! You can tell it's very mushy longboard wave. Then when it does not mush and is a bit more hollow it closes out. 10 year old pool skaters (look it up troll) are getting 100 times the action. This surf vid equates with just cruising the skatepark and only going half way up the half pipe transitions. The 10 year olds are even getting more women than the these troll clowns on video.

Great wave vid..one ?... what chemicals are the band experimenting around with, for that soundtrack ? Sounds like they need to learn some more chords . sorry guys ,stay off the pipe.

I learned to surf this summer in La Jolla. I´m not good. I just learned to stand on the board and go forward towards the beach not to the side of the wave.
