  • I think cause this was performed in such a small setting that Most Neil Young Fans are unaware of who this is performing this song.. This is no small cover band or coffee house singers. But the renowned Gillian Welch and David Rawlings with stature as Emmy Lou Harris and Steve Earl. They are huge on the scale of the folk singing scene. There songs are featured on movies and soundtracks. Playing with greats as Neil Young himself and other greats. Check them out.

  • Shame about the quality, cause this is an absolute gem.

    They totally nailed it.

  • Fantastic!

  • Very nice rendition. Thanks for posting a new take on this classic.

  • Bull's Eye - Dave and Gillian did Ol' Neil proud !!! ... (Listen to Dave's riffs on all of Gillian's records - he cops a Neil riff at least once on each of her LP's; He's a HUGE Neil fan, I'd say ... big time)

  • Amazing version of an incredible song!

  • @bryantjudoman wrote "this couple will eventually eclipse many of the great country and folk heroes that we all grew up with and love. Gillian Welch is a song writing genius." Agreed. except I'd add that having David step up & come into his own and Add the Old Crows ( as they have with the DR Machine album and tour) and it's just unreal. It's a good time to be a fan of real American Music. 25 years from now young people w/ taste will be saying " You saw Those shows, You're so Lucky."

  • so beautiful

  • Tears...

  • Beautiful. Pity about people talking through it. Rude pricks..

  • Dave is very good! I love his solo record, it's the best record I've heard in years.
