  • @FUzupf, would you mind if I sent you links to stories? I think I sent you one about the pit bull that was attacked by 4 dogs and didn't fight back. Witness confirmed she did not try to defend herself, now they don't know if she will live or not.

  • @magicalcrazyness Ya, I have that link. I've been a little pre-occupied though. I'll post that one soon.

  • Wow. A chocolate lab owner, whose dog "can get aggressive sometimes" gets off the hook, while a pit bull owner, whose dog is innocent gets his baby/best friend taken away from him and euthanized. The double standards are simply astonishing.

  • @magicalcrazyness i can't defend a dog that will harm a child. i don't blame the dog i blame the parent and the owner of the dog. as i stated, as a responsible dog owner i would never leave any person alone with my dogs becaues if there have teeth there is a chance they wil bite and i felt the same way when i owned a little lap dog too. it's not the breed it's the circumstance. as a responsible dog owner i wouldn't leave my pet alone with a person and that includes any breed.

  • @candihu I don't know why you're asking me that. And you should somewhat defend the dog, in the end it's not the dog's fault. It's the owner's fault. A dog shouldn't be left unattended with any child. No dog should be trusted 100%, I'm not saying there are bad dogs, it's just safer if you are cautious and avoid putting your dog in situations where it may fail.

Also, the old comments are from when my cousin had this account.

  • @magicalcrazyness how can anyone defend their dog for hurting a child? i would put my dog down on the spot for something liek that. i own 2 pits and they adore kids!!! kids love them too b/c they r so sweet btu as a respoonsible owner i will never leave ANY person with my dog unattended. what if the person hated pits and hit my dog or hurt my dog in some way? i don't see my dogs ever hurting a human but if it has teeth there is a chance it will bite better safe than sorry

  • A dog that can be aggressive sometimes? If my dog was aggressive "sometimes", he would have been euthanized a long time ago. Don't get me wrong, my dog is 25 pounds and has a good temperament, but he is a terrier mix. He has incredibly strong jaws. Any of you who own terriers of any kind know this well, particularly if your dog has ever killed rabbits or rats. Lucky would never try to hurt someone unless he was more than provoked, but he is still a dog, and could hurt someone.

  • @magicalcrazyness omg that is horrible, these sorts of things get me so angry... animal control needs to step up

  • Labs, Pits, Rotties, Huskies, all breeds, all sizes, will attack if they are poorly trained, neglected, so on and so forth. Dogs are animals plain and simple. We need to accept the fact that if our dogs show even the slightest bit of aggressiveness for reasons other than defense the dog needs to be put down. If the girl was too close to the fence the dog was on the defensive, if not, the dog is aggressive and needs to be put down.
