@turbojohnyS where did you found a 5 series with 250hp?? it has 231hp, and it weights more than 400 kg more than your car, and its its luxury car, its not built for drag or racing....As you can see you said it your self. as a average of many rounds, good shifting and good launch makes difference and many Japanese car manufacturers says that their example is bmw, bmw are fast cars, thats why many people think that defeating big luxury car is something to boast about.

@twajumat2 Huh?? You think if the manufacturer told the bmw can handle 0-60 in 7.3sec (on a testcircuit as a average of many rounds) that you can improve that with fast shifting??? No way my friend! By the way, I drive a integra type r (1.8L 150kW) and that one beats a 530 with 250HP! So.. conclusion: BMW 's are slow cars: too much garbage with a too big engine with too low power!

why do you think so?
this honda goes from 0 to 100 in 7.2s and bmw goes in 7.3s but... with good start and fast shifting it can easily go under 7s and and those torque makes difference. and i think its much harder to have a good start with fwd car. i raced one like this but i have sedan so i lost by a bumper not more. in this with i agree with dead clutch, difference is too big.or the driver is failing.

bad driver in the atr

Clutch of the Type R is dead! No wonder the 325 wins ;) Stock vs. stock (and with working clutch :) ) 325 would lose.
