Red-Necked Grebe (Podiceps grisegena), Ring-necked Parakeet (Psittacula krameri), Purple Sandpiper (Calidris maritima), Sanderling (Calidris alba), Red-Breasted Merganser (Mergus serrator) and Long-Eared Owl (Asio otus) videoed on a day which also included Great Northern and Red-Throated Divers, Eider and Scoter, and small Auk species on the sea, Whooper Swan and Cetti's Warbler at Marton Mere ... elsewhere on the Fyle, Red-breasted and Brent Geese and an Iceland Gull were also present. Decent winter birding for the west coast of England.
