Too Smart City
Three pieces of street furniture a bench, a trash can, and a sign offer a comedic challenge to the notion that increasingly smarter embedded intelligence and robotic systems are an aspirational goal in the design of objects, environments and services in public space.

One in a series of five interviews with the designers who participated in the Architectural League's 2009 exhibition, Toward the Sentient City, in which they reflect on how their work explores implications of ubiquitous computing for architecture and urban space.
