Don describes the fabrication of the bolsters for Atlantic Shore Line steeple cab locomotive 100 undergoing complete restoration at the Seashore Trolley Museum Kennebunkport, Maine, USA

Video by Lloyd Rosevear, museum volunteer

For a very thorough description by Don Curry, lead restoration technician, of the steeplecab locomotive in it's original condition go to:

This is a fascinating series by Phil Morse. The best way to find it is search for "asl 100 a1" then "asl 100 a2" etc. There are 23 parts to it - so get a good cup of coffee and settle in! The time it takes is well worth it.
