im sure ill get flamed for this, but a lot of the lyrics strike tone with Luciferism, and before flaming, that isnt devil worship. its the belief that redemption can only come from within. you can only save yourself, not rely on another doing it for you. just an idea about what the song means. and then the perversions of bibel quotes "my will be done" etc lol... ;;>>

Instead of debating what the songs about, I just choose to relate to it. and that I do...

There is no after-life so let's make this hell we fueled with human suffering a better place.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." As said the very man whose name they dishonor with their corruptions.

@disconcerted1111 I don't really care. I just said what it is about for me...

@nightowl8936 What about the Christians who kill people to "please their God"? The burning of people at the stake as a "witch" because these people might think differently than them. PEOPLE ARE CORRUPT. You can't just blame a certain group. People are naturally blood-thirsty, destructive creatures. Selfish and at times immoral. EVERYONE is. So do not try to patronize a certain group of people. Do not generalize for you are just as hideous as all the rest.

Whats all this song interpretation about a Nation-state?
If you listen to the lyrics agin, I think you'll agree there are many clear references to religion.
From a quick look on a page with the Kingdom lyrics, it seems to me a commentary on moral degradation and destruction in the name of religion to try to recapture some kind of moral high ground.
The song narrator is saying that the way to salvation is to work to make things better for everyone.
