@beakf1 B would be the major 7th. Bb is just plain ole 7th and that is the tone you need.

i might be going mad but i think the b flat should be b in the c9 chord.if its embelished from the c major scale which has no sharps or flats :)

@waltribeiro sweet this was just what i was looking for.the b flat is the 7th right,and going by what the guy psychopathtoine says above yooh can do it with out the 5th or g note :D
