We caught up with Bill Rodencal, H-D Museum Archives Motorcycle Restorer/Conservator, who will be riding in the 3,300 mile coast-to-coast Cannonball endurance run that's happening this September. You can read more about the race, check out the route, and learn more about the riders competing in the event here: http://bit.ly/9...urdEb
Next week we'll show how work is coming on his 1914 10-B motorcycle.
We at Mitchell's Modesto Harley-Davidson out in California will have our H-D package truck in the support fleet for this race. Our 70 year-old service manager Bobby White just changed the fluids, done a tune-up, and outfitted the rig with new tires.

When I rode from Chicago to Sturgis, we did an average of over 600 miles per day. 300 seems light - but then again I was riding a late nineties fuel injected fatboy, not a vintage pan or shovel head. Would love to see these guys roll by in September. Unfortunately I live in Michigan and I suspect the route won't go through our state.
