In 1996 the Secret Method broke into an abandoned property in Southern Ireland - the so-called Black River House, which had been made notorious in 1992 for an unexplained murder case. They stayed for two months, recording tracks for their intended debut album for Golden Hoof Records. The sessions met with difficulties and all contact with the group was lost by May 1996. A representative from the label entered the house to find the band vanished and their gear abandoned. Their whereabouts remain completely unknown to this day. A haul of over 30 tracks in various stages of completion were recovered and are currently being restored and made available from www.blackriverhouse.com - a website dedicated to the mystery of the groups disappearence and also the 1992 murder case.

  • Don't believe it. It's a fake. The village of Kildubhan does not exist.

And: why does the cameraman enter the house? On the website of the "house" it says, it cannot be entered.

  • I'm obesessed with this now, damn it. What the hell is in that house?
