next time you have a broken bolt you should use an air hammer. just a sheap one from harbor freight will do. i tried to pount a broken stud out with a sledge and it did nothing. half a minute with an air hammer and it popped right out. id definately reccoment one.

why rubber bushings instead of poly?
pfun41 1 year ago
@pfun41 I was going too go Poly but the guy at 4Wheel Parts said it would be easyer for me to take the springs over to Atlas. Otherwise I would have to order Poly bushings and have to wait and hope I get the right ones!
So Atlas did the bushing, rearched the springs, and supplied new U-Bolts! All done in a couple of hours!

@pfun41 I started this wenseday. That one side took all day. The nuts on the u-bolts would only turn a little. So I had to get out the Sawz All. That last bolt on the leaf really pissed me off. I tried cutting the bolt from the inside of the hanger but those metal sleeves in the bushing would not cut. So I just cut the hanger. I am glade I have a welder.
Its a Lincoln Weld Pak 3200 HD, I use flux core wire so I dont have to buy gas. But I do have Argon for welding Aluminum.
