@piskoun There were a few stars...Cheng Fei and Izbasa were amazing on floor and expressive. Jana Beiger wasn't terrible but the artistic value isn't what it used to be

i asked my self exact same thing

I'd say it's also in her wrists. Natalia had some of the most expressive wrist movements I think I've ever seen, on beam and floor

Yeah, the 2006 Worlds were ridiculous. The only event that has REALLY suffered from the overhaul of the code is FX. The gymnasts just can't express themselves, which further divides rhythmic and artistic gymnastics. Look at Dos Santos. She's doing INSANE tumbling lines, but she's not receiving any credit for her courage and skill. It's outrageous.

It's funny, because she does like five leaps in the entire routine and a single pirhouette on the floor. Today, gymnasts can rarely get bonus points from tumbling to make the start value a 10 (or, rather, whatever the grand total a gymnast can receive actually is now... like 18 or something stupid like that). To get bonus points, everyone is doing leap combos that are boring and/or ugly. The bonus point killed artistic gymnastics.

What ever happend to this kind of gymnastics.

It's all in her face. This routine is one of the best ever. Her choreography is excellent, and the tumbling is unreal. Her execution, though, is flawless. People don't perform floor like this anymore. Every move is perfectly finished.

Her last name is splet Laschenova
I can't believe Kim Kelly was allowed on the same floor

Don't you think it was even worse at the 2006 WC... The new code killed the artistic in artistic gymnastics! :P
