The Gettysburg Address as performed by the Oyster Orators

On November 10, 2009, the Oyster Orators performed President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address at Oyster-Adams Bilingual School in Washington, DC as part of Speak like the President, an afterschool program created and run by Ford's Theatre. The Oyster Orators followed their recital of President Lincoln's famous oration with an updated remix version of the address in their own words. The students are in Grades 5 and 6, and the teaching artist working with them is Thembi Duncan.
