@InTheCaravan haha it looks like it, but Ive had it for a while and its pretty awesome! though it is incredibly hard unless you play it right at the begining. Soz for commenting on a comment thats been here for 3 months :P

@boboko24 It was kind of the point - the game emphasises that they love each other deeply and that Rasler's death DRIVES Ashe's character arc. Games made by Yasumi Matsuno (who wrote FFXII, FF Tactics and Vagrant Story, as well as Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together) place their primary focus on the absolute ESSENTIAL characterisation rather than the deepening aspects of it (and some fall by the wayside/die quickly). It's not necessarily BAD, but it's not everyone's preference.

Yeah, it's always a different plot with different characters.

They share the name "Final Fantasy" Since they have similar battle system (though i believe it changed in twelve and on...?) and gameplay. they also have similar settings and creatures like chocobos, moogles, magic, an age before modern technology (although FFVII and FFX were of the more modern..)

So yeah, they're all different stories.

Except for X and X-2, that's a sequel.
