  • Vinnie GOD bless you

we met at a restaurant in studio city (pinotBristro) i was working there as bussboy and you signed my cymbals. From all the celebrities that went there you were the only person to treat me like a human being

It is evident in your life the love of Jesus Christ that you reflect May God continue to Bless you richly my friend

Im back home now (Argentina) and married, I still play those cymbals you signed for me

Continue the good testimony you are showing the world

  • Vinnie on Renee Olstead's cd played w/ swing feel as good as the very best. With Alejandro Sanz,Latin Artist, again his feel was top-shelf.

Always liked Vinnie, but lately I'm thiking he is probably even more eloquent at each of these genres than the other great do-it-all drummers. This guy can hang w/ guys like Jeff Hamilton in terms of feel and nuance in a style that he doesn't spend 24-7 playing. To me that's a new standard of excellence.

  • @mynameisalejandro # 1: Why were you carrying your cymbals with you working as a bussboy? # 2: why do you play cymbals signed by Colaiuta!??

  • @mynameisalejandro very nice dude, all the best to you and all the good people on the Earth

  • TERRY BOZZIO HATE THIS GUY...!!!!! ACCORDING TO THE LEYEND HE`S THE BEST IN THE WORLD ACORDING TO ZAPPA ......!!!

  • @mynameisalejandro yeah, he's a well spoken man, I met him briefly in Perth/Aus after a Bill Evans show, he signed stuff and spoke with whomever, musically he's very intelligent, as-well as being skilled and well practiced, and it reflects in his playing. Professionalism is about choosing the most suitable part to play, when you have a vast amount of chops in your personal database like Vinnie does, the options are limitless, and he always delivers a seemingly perfect drum take.

  • Vinnie is awesome!!! He's one of the best and most talented, not to mention most used and most KNOWN, drummers in the world. :)

  • wait rachael price from LSD?

  • Which Rachael CD did Vinnie play on?

  • I fully agree with you. Was just watching a vid of Chick Corea, John Patitucci and Vinie. And Vinnie played lots of latin grooves with those surprising displacement accents which are his trademarks. He´s a true all-around artist who is always a joy to hear.

  • I think...no...I KNOW that is the real Vinnie. Unless you mean Vinnie Jones. Then, in this instance, I concur with your observation.
