This is a video of the proper way to install a Kamui Tip, Kamui Black Tip, on a lathe. 500 RPMs only.

  • Way too much sanding at the end. That ferrule will look like a bullet after about five tips.

  • decent video although as a trained machinist and cue repairmen I use different methods. 500 RPM's I believe is a little slow and I like to cut toward the end of the tip with a razor knife when flushing the tip to the ferrule. Still, it is a pretty good video for someone who might wonder how the job is done.

  • what can i use to burnish my tips .a cue maker put some sort of waxs on on its realy hard

  • I have a little question. Do you make new collets to diffrent types of cues, or it fits to most of them?

  • You cut off the old tip with a razor blade much faster ( by hand ).
