@blahblahsi121 In the spring of 2009 a devastating earthquake hit the region of Abruzzo in Italy .Gianluca is from that region and he sang Ave Maria in memory of those killed in the earthquake.

this was way before he was in Il Volo, why is Il Volo in the title?

@JAyala7293 Even today they have solo acts in their show. They where already performing as a trio even before this solo performance and they picked the name "Il Volo" much later. In fact in Italy they are known as "Il Trio" or as "I tre tenorini". If you ask somebody from Italy if he likes Il Volo he may reply that he never heard of them. But if you show him a video he will recognize them immediately.
