In the late 70ties I used to live in the north of Germany. It was at the height of the cold war when the RAF used to fly daily manouvres at all altitudes I remember viewing these full circles almost every day ..It appaired as nothing really special as i got used to seeing them. We always got informed they were "tactical manouvres".

yeah well, farmer, we have these all the time too but we live 150 miles from the airport and these are flying at 15,000 feet and above military airspace. Oh and by the way, oh and condensation trails recrystalize after 10 to 30 seconds as was taught to us in one of our first courses in the US Air Force. This is a Chemical Trail because they remain in the sky for hours. Stop trying to cover up the truth. Holding patter? What a dipshit!!!
