This was a movie that was given to me at a lecture at the University of Arizona in 2003 by Frank Dorrel. I'm uploading it to YouTube in the hope that it will educate the public about the activities of their government.

The narrator explains how Salvador Allende of Chile posed a threat to US business interests by trying to nationalize the oil fields and was subsequently targeted by the CIA for a staged coup. Allende gave his last speech vowing not to resign,] and subsequently committed suicide. After Allende's ouster ,Chile was led by a military junta, and then as a dictatorship by General Augusto Pinochet.
It details how in Nicauragua under Reagan the CIA was given instructions in how to terrorize and traumatize the people. Susan Sarandan details how the school of the Americas trained death squads for the CIA. In San Salvador, death squads killed women, children and Catholic nuns. When archbishop Romero asked the US to stop the repression, he was assassinated the next day, while celebrating mass.
