"Cinderella" (Aschenputtel), German-French-Spanish co-producition movie, produced by Omnia Film & Eurokim, directed by Karin Brandauer and starring Petra Vigna, Krista Stadler, Roswitha Schreiner and Stephan Meyer-Kohlhoff.
The movie is based on the classic fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.

@tut1170 In the Grimm's version the slipper is made of gold ... the glass one is in Perrault's fairy tale :)

@Leo9944 ooowh ok.. but i think this movie will be more interesting if they follow from the real story because one of the reasons why Cinderella story is known is because of the glass shoe but not golden shoe .. so if they change, feels like not a real cinderella story (as u can read from all those comments) :)

@tut1170 But this movie is a German production ... and in Germany the Grimm's version is better known and loved than the Perrault's one ... there's no one real story, they are both original, the reason why the Perrault's version is more known around the world is because of the Disney movie, that's all! XD

@tut1170 You're welcome!! :) You know, there are even movies in which the slipper is made of silk (like the last German movie, made in 2011), or even silver and crystal (the Uk version "The Slipper and the Rose")!

it is hard to believe it now that i used to love this movie...now everything seems illogical. hmm.. thanks for uploading though..been looking for this movie..used to watch it when i was just a kid.

the blood oozing out the shoe part is just sick! it horrified me as a child!
