Se ve que Gomez es un tremendo prospecto para campeon, pero analizando su record, creo que no le conviene una pelea con Cotto tan temprano en su carrera. Gomez no ha tenido aun una pelea a 12 asaltos. Su record de KO no es impresionante(8de18) vs Cotto(25de31). Ambos tienen la misma edad. Gomez aventaja 2" en estatura y alcance a Cotto, aunque no creo que esto afecte a el boricua. Inclino la balanza hacia el lado de Cotto. Como quiera, espero una gran pelea por parte de ambos.
