A Simple Tribute For Buffy Sainte-Marie

This is "Answer" performed by Sarah McLachlan. LOL and i KNOW, she's white. But hey, white people sing Buffy's songs all the time and you don't hear HER complaining.

This song and tribute reminded me of ME, personally and i feel that everyone can relate in their own ways. I'm 17, young, Making my own decisions, learning new heavy things, digesting reality, and basically just taking life's pain in the rear jouney like every one of you. My feelings are deep...And most of the time i don't know what i want lol.
This song just GOT to me after watching "The Brave One". It sort of encouraged me and frightened me to know that you can change either for the best... or for the worst.... and most of the time, you're unable to go back. I'm changing everyday. I hate it, haha. But most of the times it's for the best. Still...Pain comes now and then, but that's just what happens when you have eyes and ears... and you need to accept yourself even when you're a good person because that's the only way i know how to survive. Accept. Live. And NEVER regret (it helps you move on). And just know that even though you'd WISH to be like someone else; someone who's funny, rebelious, really smart, very happy, comical, sarcastic, open, honest, or just plain weird and mean in the best ways.... some people wish they could be like you too.
The song also reminded me of Buffy, JUST for that. She made decisions. Even though it must have been harsh on her, she still had the heart to keep going and love herself in every way.

The womans courage and her words have greatly inspired me, just like they must have inspired you.

And so i give this tribute for us and for Buffy :)

Buffy Sainte Marie is a talent to be reckoned with. She has always been a favorite of mine. She is a treasure. Heard her recently on an NPR interview...her beauty comes through, she is a power. McLachlan does a good job...great tribute.
