So here is a pull up tutorial to learn how to do a pull up. It will probably take about 5 weeks to do a proper pull up and from then on it might take you 10 weeks to do 15 pull ups in a row. You can use the link down below to get yourself a pull up program that I designed. I think it is a decent program that will enable you to do more pull ups. I made sure that the goals you reach each week are reasonable, so you won't do 10 extra pull ups in 1 week time like a lot of other programs on internet do:

  • @LetsPlayUgur Check out my new upper back videos. I've improved a lot in just 10 months!

  • What if i can do 6 ?

  • @C4rtLike Than you follow the routine starting with the advanced version and start with a week that does 2 x 5 pull ups or something like that. You do know that the schedule is on my site which you can find a link of in the description right?

  • hey man, great tutorial, good advice on the negatives. I have a question, though. did you buy the bar at a normal sports-store, or was it in a "special" store, and how much did it cost? I'd really appreciate if you could answer :) (ups, that's 2 questions)

  • @JSLSampaio Found it online and it costed me 36 euro (about 50 dollars). Try to find a good one online, which is the easiest way I would say.

  • @jlvi13 36 euros, really? i thought it would cost a lot more money... thanks for answering, man

  • Men thanks for the tutorial. is awesome. Really helpfull to me :)

  • @levelwu I do my best to stay as neutral as possible :) Probably won't be a problem, since I always try to inform people the best I can, without trying to influence them with my own opinion.

It would probably be a good idea to start focussing on the lats when doing negative pull ups. Those are easier, it will be a better way to concentrate on the lats that way.

  • Thanks for the work put into your videos. Finally a real person not some "expert" trying to sell their videos :)

These are great tips, I never really thought of doing the 'negatives' approach.

I have hard time involving my back and every pull up I try seems like my forearms and biceps are doing all the work. Should I focus on engaging back muscles on negatives? They are so weak that it is hard to really engage them on pull up.

    Thank you.
