Building the Education Rort

Julia Gillard personally engineered the greatest rort-fest in Australian Government history. Estimates of the amount of money completely lost under this program are as high as 6 billion dollars for a 16 billion dollar program. Her punishment for this was to be promoted to the Prime Ministership.

The BER rorts represent, NOT a failure of implementation, but a failure of central planning and socialism as an ideology. If the coalition presided over this program then the result would be no different.

By the way, the money for this program was borrowed internationally. You and your children will be paying it back, at massive interest rates, for many many years.

Its the Australian Taxpayers money! An Audit is needed to find out if all the money was spent on the BER program! If what has not been spent on the program, the funds must be returned to the Federal Government with Interest.

I would start checking Non Public Schools first! Believe me most of them are the biggest roiters of all. I am sure you could find a billion they are sitting on collecting Interest of our hard earn tax dollars!

@chotaboy66 - You are dead right about the "Mass Non Complience is the only option!" Its in our consititution that we can vote them all out in the next federal election with a vote of no confidence.

Problem is since 1960 the education system has not taught Australians our consitutional rights and most Australians dont even know we have a consitution! There is No difference in Labour or Liberal by party policy! they are both the same with the same agenda and its all bad for Australia! Im READY!

Only about $2.2 million - that's alright then. Then she added another $2.1 billion. If it creates jobs it must be good. Afterall, if your house catches on fire and you have to have it rebuilt, it's creating jobs. Onya Julia.

@elfornse I was stupid enough to take up the insulation offer.  Big mistake. Five of my lights have fused, burnt out and have to be replaced and the electrical bill came to way in excess of the cost of just paying for the insulation to be done by a reputable local company. My airconditioning ducting was damaged and trampled flat and had to be replaced too. Wow ... let's not for get this little fiasco either.

thats 2.7% of all schools have complained about wast. but this dont mean nothing. there could be wast at all schools or half of the schools. also julia has admitted that the BER program needs to have changes so thats the same as admitting the the BER was poorly planned = huge wast. and the report being structured the way it is leads me to believe its highly bias.
