this guy is a extremist retard , my brain is made up largely from saturated fat or my brains would leak out from my ears not to mention it's present in every whole food especially mother's milk..Obviously he is not that human if he fears saturated fat.
@Catherine8here sugar is secondary when creating fat Dr Brian is focusing in the 1st.you want hormones theres healthy ways to get them, yes your body makes a little sat fat but Dr Brian's point is theres a limit for fats
I was told that cholesterol does not go up via fats but via high sugars/carbs. Stearic acid, a saturated fat has a neautral effect on cholesterol and coconut oil is the small/medium chain SFAs and they also suppose to have good effects upon our cholesterol. Cholesterol makes our DHEA, estrogen, testosterone and without cholesterol we would be hormonal less, why is this guy fearing cholesterol and fats? The liver makes it too. Fear refined foods, sugars, trans fats, herbicides, pesticides not fat
I have tried raw living food diets.. I find I am always hungry, It is not that I love fatty food so much, but the desire to curb hunger cravings is a strong one.. am I doing something wrong, if I was to eat more and more raw veg I would have no time for anything else
According to Dr. Mary Enig MS (Nutritional Sciences), Ph.D. you are not entirely correct. In those whose cholesterol levels are low they go up and those whose levels are high they go down. According to studies that have been done the LDL/HDL ratio would move in a favorable direction with the consumption of coconut oil. There are many more health advantages of including coconut oil or pure coconut milk in your diet.

If saturated fats are not so important, why then is every cell 50% fat, as is breast milk?
