Never rent a jetski in Pattaya...you'll get ripped off by the gangs that run it and the cops are in on it. Never sleep on the beach...you might never wake up, Always make sure anyone you bring to your room gives their ID card at the desk..avoid tattooed, musclebound, steroid monsters from all over the world. Don't get in a fight with a Thai. Walk away from trouble, but keep your eye on it. Wear a rubber, don't leave your drink unattended, tell friends where you're going and when you'll be back.

Last time I was there was in the area of 89 and it appears the place has cleaned it’s act up a bit. I recall stepping off the boat and the first street had a Ti boxing arena and most everything else was raunchy whore houses and sex shows. Glad to see they turned it around.
