Name of Brothers Grim changed to The Rathouse Carol to avoid confusion. Written in 1991, from the privately produced CD 'Secret Nature'.

Lately I've been feeling disconnected
Like watching myself on the TV
When I talk it's like turning on a radio
You may find it hard tuning into me

That was some strange stuff you were taking
I saw the light fall from your eyes
You told me you'd been clean for months now
But you were no good at telling lies

That night I knew it was over
You were letting go of life
You opened up your heart to me
And there was nothing much inside

And your words they seemed so child-like
Like you were drifting back in time
Through your chemical memories
To some sweet place in your mind

You said
"Me and you are rainbows. A little rain, a little sun. We light the skies with the bright colours of our lives. Then in a moment, we are gone."
