Area 9 Intermediate SJ 2010 - Sapphire

GRR... had to Audioswap the music, it *was* Born To Run by the mighty Springsteen but YT wouldn't allow it =[

Sapphire & I competing as part of the Clifton-on-Teme PC team at Area 9 SJ 2010. The other team members were Ellie, Georgie & Emily and we finished 6th overall [of over 20 teams]. Thanks to Sue [Ellie's Mum] for filming me in the second round!

The 3 fences we had down in a row were frustratingly my fault as I lost the canter in the approach to the double of uprights and once she'd knocked one pole Saffy panicked & ran on, flattening over the next two fences which came up quickly. Had more time to set up for the next fence [huge blue oxer which unfortunately was just out of shot] which she absolutely pinged. Was still please though coz the fences were big for us [1.05m - 1.10m] and she took them all on without chipping or hesitating. Not bad for a fat pony!

She looked really nice here [swishy Arab tail FTW!], well done! In other news, Beastly didn't try to kill me today. In fact, she was almost affectionate. I think she's plotting something. Hm.

@MegConnamaraXCob4Eva Thanks so much. I do love greys but yes, she is very hard to keep clean and gets whiter as she gets older! Grr! Fairy liquid & elbow grease do the trick at the moment XD She's a bit strong but doesn't like having her mouth interfered with so I have ride with a lot of leg & seat!
