Slayers the Revolution!

My first ever attempt at an 'amv', using what few episodes I had that would behave for such purposes.

The anime is of course Slayers Revolution, the (new!) fourth season to a grand olde anime series about swords, sorcery, and sometimes even saving the country from rampaging beasties.

This was mostly for fun, so it was just put together in iMovie. I wish I had access to my FCP, but that'll have to wait for a future time.

The anime is called 'The Slayers' and has been around for well over a decade, but the footage from this video is from a newly released season, Slayers Revolution. FUNimation will be releasing it to DVD next year. The song is the closing song from Slayers Revolution, appropriately titled 'Revolution' and is performed by Megumi Hayashibara.

I've only been interested in this series for a month now, and I'm glad that there are new episodes being developed. Do you know when the english version will be available for this season?

If all goes well, FUNimation is supposed to be releasing both Revolution and Evolution-R sometime in (early?) 2010. That may seem far away, but it's really not too bad a wait all things considered.

Well, I've seen the Revolution series, and Evolution-R too...in Japanese of course, but I still am excited to see english version. I can't wait.^^

Yes I am sure, I already have my copy reserved at FYE. Shortly after, although not anounced yet the next season after it(Slayers Evolution-R) should be coming out.
