May i borrow some of this footage? Lovely video, i hate how her tank is so small, it makes me so angry.

@rubin195 - no one liked it for her tank, but simply her. Hurtz ("owner" of Lolita), i want to cut him into pieces and feed it to her or sharks . . . . after of course a year or more of abuse and what he put Lolita through, i like the video trust me if it was legal to kill someone for a day it would be him, i dont like it anymore then Lolita herself.

This video is pathetic.... people shouldn't like this! the tank is too small and she is forced to swim in a small circle for the rest of her life!

@jmcmahon8 She has not lived in that tank her whole life. She was captured in 1970 from Penn Cove WA, and taken kicking and screaming away from her family and put into that tiny sub-standard tank. After Hugo died (which was decades ago-Hugo also taken from the same pod) she has not been able to communicate with another orca since. She needs to be retired to a seapen off WA coast. Her mother Ocean Sun is still alive, as is her immediate family.

if she didnt want to perform she would not. she is asked for a behavior and if a 7000 lb whale doesnt want to do somethin it wont.If she was released as you say, you would kill her. she has been in captivity all her life and wouldnt survive in the wild. she is 43,oldest killerwhale in a zoological park in the world due to her being in great physical and MENTAL health. she is happy, which i do know for a fact.

to clarify,it isnt true that lolita had to build up momentum in order to breach, which is not a trick, its a natural behavior killerwhales do in the wild. She was asked to fast swim, which is also another behavior and then to breach.
