ACJS Qualifying Hampton Downs - 4age 20v KP61 Starlet

4age 20v KP61 Starlet in car footage from the All Classic Japanese Series at the brand new Hapton Downs Race track 14/11/2009. This is part of the qualifying session. For my first time out I qualified 14th of 22 cars.

Having troubles selecting gears with the new gearbox. It is possibly the extra spacer in the short shift kit that may not be required like it was on the old box. Other than chancing 2-5 a couple of times its sometimes hard to hit 2nd from 3rd as well. things to look foward to correcting i guess.

cool vid and sweet sounding motor, but i think you need to do some training in the art of heel-toe down shifting and BLAT. but hey, we all have to start somewhere :)
