In Loving Memory of Britt Lapthorne

I made this video so people could remember Britt as she was..Beautiful.

Britt went missing while backpacking in Dubrovnik, Croatia in the early hours of September 18th 2008 after leaving club Feugo. After an exhaustive search, her body was found in the sea in the Bay of Boninovo on October 8th 2008, and several days later was returned home to Australia accompanied by her father and brother. She was 21 years old.

Who or what took Britt's life is still undetermined.

Her case attracted widespread support and media attention both here in Australia and in Croatia.

There are many people grieving the loss of such a vibrant and happy girl.

Britt is survived by her parents Dale and Elke, brother Darren, boyfriend Simon, and many extended family members and friends.

She will be loved and remembered FOREVER.

With my comment before i just wanted to say, i know the pain that the family is feeling. That friend of mine, he died on the way to the hospital.I was never able to say goodbye to him.His murder,he was arrested by the police, but later he was released...they said there were not enough evidence.I hope they find that person that did this to britt and that this person get what they deserve!!! Great video, my deepest condolences...

God want the best people on earth by his side.thats why he took her to heaven.thats the reason why such a young person had to die, so some people say.Maybe thats the reason why a good friend of mine had to die at the age of 16,2 1/2 month after his 16th birthday.He just wanted to smooth down differences between a friend of him and another guy..but the guy hit him 2 times in the chest and kicked him 10 as he was laying on the ground.he died due to a heart failure.Inever4get him.I´mSry4HerFamily.

Very beautifull vid of a beautiful girl... Terribly sorry for the horror happend in Croatia, and for her friends and family's loss.

Being from Croatia myself, I feel even more sorry.

It's a terrible reminder that we don't live in a perfect and safe world.

Sadest thing is that we learn that in worst ways and usually people who are least guilty of anything become victims, when least expected.

Keep on living your life in full, but don't forget to be carefull!

maybe being from oz, i'm not sure but this story has agonised me from the moment it broke, often her face just pops into my head. i've never felt this personal helplessness involving a stranger before. i think of her family, in particular her brother, me being a brother too. i'm heading os soon incl. croatia and will visit. beautifully done memorial. be well

I've followed this story unfolding with my sincerest concerns. I cry for this family i've never met. Such a beautiful soul is a reflection of warm loving parents. My heart goes out to you Britt's family. I am truely saddened for your loss.
