EDMONTON - Family members of Mounties Brock Myrol and Anthony Gordon were emotional at the sentencings today of two men held responsible for their deaths.
Outside the court house, the Myrols made a statement to the press.

  • regardless of what the boys did or did not do.They are definitely not guilty of murder.Nor should they be tied to the murders in any way.We would all be guilty if all it took was just knowing someone who committed murder. The RCMP had all kinds of warning signs about this man long before the incident happened.Putting those two young men in jail is ridiculous.People who have actually committed murder in this country have gotten less time.

  • thats so sad but hennesy and his brotherinlaw were definitely responsible to a degree.  All they needed to do was to call the police once they got back home to tell police they were forced to drop him (the killer) off at the farm. Instead, they chose to lie to cover their tracks. Thats very sad. Look, it's obvious he was selling the guys drugs for him and Hennessey knew if that came out he'd really be in trouble. Sad all the way around.
